A Decade in the Works: A 10 Year Retrospective - Men Who Paint Book |
|
A Decade in the Works is a collection of over 120 works that follows the evolution of Canadian 'plein air' painters Cam Forester, Greg Hargarten, Paul Trottier, Roger Trottier and Ken Van Rees from their beginnings in 2007 through 10 years of painting Canada’s wilderness. It is a story of friendship and art, published in conjunction with the University of Saskatchewan.
Though they paint together and, without question, have had an influence on each other, each artist has developed his own unique style; approaches to colour and brush makes each artist’s work identifiable. This book shows how they continue to challenge each other, creatively connected by a shared passion for painting en plein air.
